Airbus confirms 57 new aircraft orders in latest update

Airbus received gross orders for 57 aircraft in April, lifting its total gross orders for the first four months of the year to 227 airliners. Read More » The manufacturer's monthly summary showed the April figure was underpinned by a commitment for 51 A321neos from an undisclosed customer alongside one A350-900 from Japan Airlines and six A320neo family aircraft from British Airways. There were five cancellations in the month, the first cancellations the OEM has recorded in 2024. As a result, net orders for the year to date totalled 222 aircraft. The Toulouse-headquartered group delivered 61 aircraft in the 30 days. Customers have accepted 203 Airbus airliners between January 1 and April 30 this year.
