COMAC to extend Shanghai C919 production facilities to meet “hundreds of new orders”

Read More » The expansion of the C919 production line was announced by a state-owned provider of aviation planning and construction services, China Aviation Planning and Design Institute (Group) Co. Ltd. (AVIC-CAPDI), on We Chat. “The completion of the project will meet the future batch production needs of the C919 large passenger aircraft, effectively improving its production efficiency and providing strong support for the commercial operation and market competition of domestically produced big aircraft,” AVIC-APC said. The footprint of the enlarged facility will be 330,000 square meters.
