Today's briefs report news from Emirates Airline, KlasJet, AerCap Holdings N.V., Safran Aircraft Engines, Shannon Engine Support, H3 Dynamics and Airbus UpNext. Read More »

Emirates Airline will refurbish another 43 A380s and also 28 777s an expansion of its retrofit program to 191 aircraft. 

KlasJet, a charter company operated by leading ACMI provider, the Avia Solutions Group family, has added another 737-800 NG to its fleet. Avia Solutions now has seven jets available for ACMI operations.

AerCap Holdings N.V. has signed with Safran Aircraft Engines and Shannon Engine Support for the purchase of 150 new CFM LEAP spare engines. The list price for the deal is approximately US$3 billion.

Airbus UpNext has contracted H3 Dynamics to supply a customized airworthy 500 Kilowatt (0.5MW) hydrogen fuel cell as part of a demonstrator to replace the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) on an Airbus aircraft.
