AirAsia has launched a "Moms-on-Duty" kit to support new mothers returning to work at the LCC, which includes a nursing cover, a handbook with guidelines on how to seek in-house support on health and nutritional matters and speaking with colleagues when they require time and privacy to express breast milk and a gift for their babies. “The introduction of the Moms-on-Duty kit is part of a broader initiative by AirAsia to boost female participation in operational roles," AirAsia chief people officer, Intan Shahira Mohd Shahru, said.
Airports of Thailand (AOT) has reported a net profit of 5.8 billion baht (US$158 million) for the three months to March 31, more than three times the net profit of 1.9 billion baht in the same quarter in 2023. Revenue was up 65.9%, to 18.4 billion baht, AOT said in a regulatory filing.
