India’s IndiGo is discussing an order for 100 or more regional aircraft with ATR, Embraer and Airbus after setting its sights on expanding reach to smaller population destinations, The Economic Times reports. Read More » It has been speculated ATR is IndiGo’s favoured contender because the airline operates 45 78-seater ATR-72 planes and has another five of the type to be delivered by year-end. Other contenders for the order are the A220 and the Embraer E175.
