Cathay Pacific Airways said in a regulatory filing John Harrison and Andrew Tung Lieh Cheung had resigned as independent non-executive directors of the company. At the same time, Lily Cheng Ka Lai and Wang Xiao Bin had been appointed as independent non-executive directors. The board changes take effect from today (May 20 2024).

Airport services company, SATS, said its board of directors has appointed Western Digital executive vice president for global operations, Irving Tan, as a new independent director and chair-designate. Tan will replace the retiring Euleen Goh as chair following the company's annual shareholders meeting in July. Goh is remaining at the company as advisor to the chair following the shareholders meeting to "allow Irving’s chairmanship to benefit from Euleen’s tenured experience in steering the group’s ongoing transformation journey to create value for stakeholders", SATS said.
