Cathay Pacific passenger traffic up 26.1% in April

Looking ahead, Lau said the airline group, comprising Cathay Pacific and LCC HK Express, was growing its network in Mainland China up to 210 return flights a week as the Individual Visit Scheme was expanded to a further eight cities. “Over the coming months, the Cathay Group will continue to add more destinations and flights to our network," Lau said. "In terms of travel demand, students returning to Hong Kong for the summer will provide a good boost in June and July, while the outlook for the summer peak is also looking promising."
