Australia's airlines flew five million domestic passengers in March

Airlines operating in Australia carried 3.1% more passengers on their domestic networks in March, up from the 4.8 million in-country passengers they transported in the same month in 2023. Australia's busiest route in March, between Melbourne and Sydney, recorded 709,700 passengers, up 2.9% from the 689,700 air travellers recorded a year ago.
