Etihad Airways and Beijing Daxing Airport sign MoU

Etihad Airways and Beijing Daxing International Airport have agreed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to increase flights between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Beijing and also improve passenger services, baggage handling and cargo development. Read More » At present, Etihad is flying nonstop to Daxing from its Abu Dhabi hub. “This MoU signifies more than just cooperation between airline and airport. It marks a closer connection between the UAE and China,” Etihad CEO, Antonoaldo Neves, said “We look forward to promoting cultural exchanges and driving economic growth through this cooperation.” Beijing Daxing International Airport of Capital Airports Holdings vice president, Kong Yue, said: “This cooperation will open a new chapter in aviation between the Middle East and China.” The agreement was signed at the UAE-China Business and Investment Forum in Beijing last week.
