Air New Zealand to upgrade Auckland-Bali to full-year schedule
June 10th 2024
New Zealanders headed to Bali for the southern hemisphere summer holidays will have the option of nonstop Auckland-Denpasar after Air New Zealand (Air NZ) builds its seasonal route between the two destinations to year-round operations. Read More » Air NZ resumed flights to Bali last March operating it as a seasonal route during the 2024 southern hemisphere winter cycle. From November, the Star Alliance member will fly three times a week Auckland-Bali until February 2025 and then downgrade the rotation to two a week to the final week of March. At present, Air NZ is flying five to seven services a week on the route until October. “Bali has become an increasingly popular destination for Kiwi holidaymakers. It has something to offer every type of traveller: from culture to incredible food, surf, relaxation and adventure. Expanding our Bali services made sense,” Air NZ chief customer and sales officer, Leanne Geraghty, said. “As the only airline offering a direct connection between Aotearoa [New Zealand] and Bali, Kiwis heading on a Bali break during the summer no longer need to fly there via a stopover. With more than 800 seats available to Bali each week from November to February there are more options than ever to explore the popular Indonesian islands and all they have to offer.”
