Bonza staff lose jobs after airline fails to attract “White Knight” investor

Read More » Administrator Hall Chadwick said it has been in discussions with a number of interested parties about fresh funding but no binding offers had been received. “As a result, the administrators have no option but to terminate all employees and cancel all flights,” Hall Chadwick said. “The future of the company is still to be determined as a third party may still put forward a Deed of Company Arrangement proposal for the consideration of creditors. The administrators will update all creditors shortly and look to convene the major meeting of the company when creditors will decide the future of the company,” it said. Bonza, Australia’s newest airline, suspended all flights and entered voluntary administration on April 30. It commenced commercial flying in January 2023.
