Vietravel Airlines expanding to Taiwan from August

Vietravel Airlines will launch three times a week Taipei Taoyuan-Phu Quoc charters on Aug. 1 and inaugurate twice a week Tai Chung-Da Nang and once weekly Taichung-Hue later in the month. Read More » By year-end, Vietravel Airlines intends its network to Taiwan also to include Taipei Taoyuan-Hue, Kaohsiung-Phu Quoc, Kaohsiung-Hue and Taichung-Phu Quoc. The carrier is considering opening Taoyuan-Ho Chi Minh City and will start Taipei-Hanoi in the first quarter of 2025, Taiwan representative for the airline and general manager of See Mark Travel, Mark Chen, told Taiwanese media this week. According to the Tourism Administration of Taiwan, Taiwanese tourists made more than 850,000 visits to Vietnam last year, surpassing 2019 numbers and making Vietnam the most popular destination in Southeast Asia for Taiwanese travelers.
