Thai Airways International and Kuwait Airways establish code-share partnership

Thai Airways International (THAI) and Kuwait Airways (KAC) have announced THAI’s code will be placed on KAC flights between Kuwait City and Bangkok and from Kuwait City to destinations in Europe notably Rome and Athens. Read More » In addition, KAC’s code is being flown on THAI’s Bangkok-Kuala Lumpur route from mid this week. “The code share agreement will offer passengers greater choices in traveling between Bangkok and Kuwait City with access to other destinations in the Middle East, North Africa and Europe. We look forward to developing the relationship and to introducing more added-value benefits by enhancing our seamless connectivity and offering passengers with more options and experience,” THAI CEO, Chai Eamsiri, said. “Both carriers firmly believe this agreement will enhance commercial and tourism relations between Kuwait and Thailand,” Kuwait Airways CEO, Captain Ahmad M. Al Kreebani, said. If approved by regulators, THAI and KAC will offer passengers KAC flights departing from Kuwait City to Amman, Dubai, Jeddah, Riyadh, Cairo, Casablanca and Milan and on THAI to Korea, the Far East and domestic Thailand, the two new partners said in a joint statement.
