New chairman for Sydney Airport

Sydney Airport has named director Trevor Gerber, 59, as the successor to long-time chairman Max Moore-Wilton, 72, when he steps down next month. Gerber joined the airport's board in May 2002 as an independent director, and has served as chairman of its audit and risk committee. He is a director of Leighton Holdings, Tassal Group, Novion Property and Regis Healthcare.


Royal Jordanian appoints new CEO

The Royal Jordanian board of directors has confirmed the appointment of Captain Haitham Misto as its president and chief executive.Captain Misto has 33 years of experience at Royal Jordanian. He was head of the airline’s Flights Operations Department before his appointment as acting president last October. He holds an MBA in aviation management from Maastricht University.
