Qatar Airways Group announces biggest profit in history in fiscal year 2023-2024

Qatar Airways Group has unveiled its best financial performance in its 27-year history, reporting a QAR6.1 billion (US$1.7 billion) profit in its latest year. Read More » Total revenue was QAR81 billion, a 6% increase compared with a year ago. The airline flew more than 40 million passengers in the reported 12 months, a 26% increase compared with May 2023. Capacity expanded 21% and load factor was 83%, the highest recorded by the Doha-headquartered airline. “Our continued focus on profitability, efficiency and customer experience has been underpinned by a strategic program of network growth and fleet expansion, resulting in our highest revenue and profit in the history of the airline. We cemented our undisputed role as a key industry leader, maintaining our position as the airline of choice for millions of passengers worldwide,” Qatar Airways Group CEO, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, said.
