China and the United Arab Emirates are in talks to increase flights, Bloomberg Markets reports, with meetings to be held in Beijing in coming weeks to discuss a new traffic rights agreement. Read More » China and the UAE want more connections than the 56 flights per country per week allowed at present. Of the seven carriers flying between China and the UAE, only Etihad Airways is not operating its full complement of traffic rights. Its Abu Dhabi to China network is 10 times weekly out of an entitlement of 21 flights a week.
