Sichuan Airlines expands all-cargo fleet with leased A330-300 freighter

Sichuan Airlines has accepted its fifth A330 freighter, which also is the second A330-300 Passenger to Freighter (P2F) to join the Mainland carrier’s cargo fleet. Read More » Leased to the airline by CDB Aviation, 2008 aircraft unit 954, was previously operated by SmartLynx. More freighters will be flown by airline in the next 12 months, it said. “The aircraft is a superb addition to our cargo fleet, providing us with more wide-body capacity and enhancing our operational capabilities to meet rapidly expanded market demand. This will ensure our sustainable growth in the long-term,” Sichuan Airlines chairman, Zuyi Shi, said. “We are thrilled to be joining our partners at Sichuan Airlines in celebrating this significant 200th aircraft milestone in the airline’s impressive regional and international growth story. CDB Aviation congratulates the Sichuan Airlines team on achieving their leading position among airlines in western China and its growing role as an international airline in passenger and cargo markets,” CDB Aviation CEO, Jie Chen, said.
