Japan's transport and tourism ministry is tackling the issue of insufficient jet fuel supplies at the country’s airports as the problem is negatively impacting the benefits of a boom in air travel demand, broadcaster NHK reports. Read More » The proposed regulation will require airport operators to proactively gather information about increased airline flight frequencies out of the country’s airports so refineries can deliver the volumes of jet fuel needed by their airline customers. The directive is expected to be finalized next week.
