China Eastern Airlines (CEA) is responding to forecast holiday demand with increased capacity to domestic hot spots Yunnan, Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Qinghai and Tibet and to Europe, North and Southeast Asia and Oceania. Read More » “With the arrival of summer travel, the company will actively seize market opportunities in the peak season and optimise the domestic route network according to market characteristics. For international and regional markets, the SkyTeam alliance member will further accelerate resumption of flights in relevant markets, by operating 179 routes to 75 destinations in 34 countries and regions and adding 2,856 flights weekly to its peak summer season schedule. CEA flew 11.4 million passengers in June, up 13.3% from the 10 million air travellers it transported in the same month in 2023.
