Bangkok Airways posts 6.3% lift in quarterly profit

Bangkok Airways has recorded a net profit of 712.2 million baht (US$20.2 million) in the quarter to June 30, up from 669.7 million baht in the same months in 2023. Read More » Revenue rose 16.8%, to 5.8 billion baht, Bangkok Airways said in a regulatory filing. The regional carrier said tourists visiting Thailand had increased significantly in 2024, noting visitors from China had increased 138% in the first half of the year. The airline added seat capacity of 0.1% in the reported period “due to redelivery of aircraft in April and frequency adjustments to match with travel demand in the low season”.
