Australia’s Qantas Group has joined with mining companies, BHP and Rio Tinto, as investors in the Silva Carbon Origination Fund, which manages Australian carbon credit units. “For hard to abate sectors such as aviation, high-integrity carbon offsets will play an important role in achieving climate targets,” Qantas chief sustainability officer, Andrew Parker, said.

IndiGo has launched a “NextGen” electronic flight bag program for its ATR fleet.
