India’s stock exchange queries SpiceJet’s financial standing

The Stock Exchange of India has asked SpiceJet to clarify its operating position after a media report said the Mumbai LCC had delayed payment of due June salaries to staff. However, in an email to pilots from the airline's vice president of flight operations, Virendra Malhotra, the carrier said salaries owed will be paid shortly.
