HK Express headed to Penang

HK Express has chosen Penang as its first destination in Malaysia, with the inaugural service from Hong Kong to the popular tourist island due to take off on 21 November. Read More » The Cathay Group LCC will operate the route daily as an evening departure from Hong Kong and an overnight service from Penang landing back at Hong Kong just before 0500 local time. “We are delighted to launch a new route from Hong Kong to Penang, which not only marks a milestone of HK Express’ entry into the Malaysian market, but also our strategic deployment in connecting Hong Kong with the rest of Asia," HK Express CEO, Jeanette Mao, said. “As a vibrant, cultural hub buzzing with energy, Penang will offer an unforgettable experience for travellers with its unique history and cuisine. We will continue to expand our route network across Asia to offer our customers more convenient and efficient travel options." AirAsia Malaysia and Cathay Pacific currently fly nonstop between Hong Kong and Penang.
