Boeing reported orders for 72 commercial aircraft for July, of which 55 were for 737 MAX aircraft from two lessors – 35 aircraft from Aviation Capital Group and 20 aircraft from Macquarie AirFinance Limited. Read More » There was also a top-up order of 787-9s from Japan Airlines and seven orders from unidentified customers. The July total lifted Boeing's total gross orders through the first seven months of 2024 to 228 aircraft. Orders net of cancellations and conversions stood at 186 aircraft on July 31, up from 115 from the end of June. Boeing said it delivered 43 aircraft in July, lifting its total deliveries so far this year to 218 commercial aircraft.
