Airports of Thailand (AOT) reported net profit of 4.6 billion baht (US$130 million) for the three months to June 30 2024, up 44.6% from 3.2 billion baht in the same three months in 2024. Revenue rose 26.9% to 16.7 billion baht, AOT said in a regulatory filing. "Although the tourism and aviation industries recovered from the pandemic situation of COVID-19 almost perfectly, they are facing continuous challenges," AOT said, citing Russia's innovation of Ukraine and escalating conflict in the Middle East.

All Nippon Airways has released a Pokemon-themed inflight safety video and a disembarkation video to be shown on its two aircraft featuring the Pokemon livery – Pikachu Jet NH and Eevee Jet NH.

Boeing has announced an order for 31 737 MAX aircraft from Israel-based El Al.

The oneworld airline marketing alliance has upgraded its around-the-world booking tool in partnership with Elemental Cognition and the use of its AI Platform, powered by Google Cloud.

Air travel technology company, SITA, has renewed its contract with Iraqi Airways to provide and upgrade the airline's passenger and baggage management systems.
