Japan Airlines to add London Heathrow to A350-1000 network

Read More » The oneworld alliance member will commence flying the wide-body to London from Tokyo Haneda at the start of the northern hemisphere autumn. The launch date for the rotation has yet to be decided. JAL flies its A350-1000s from its home hub to Dallas/Fort Worth and New York JFK. In a schedule update, the flag carrier said it will add flights across its international network “to meet the strong demand for inbound travel and North America-Asia travel”. Frequencies will be increased ex-Tokyo to Jakarta, Bengaluru, Melbourne, Shanghai Pudong and Taipei Taoyuan, JAL said. It also will operate more flights to Honolulu, with aircraft fitted with first class cabins, during the year-end peak season.
