Singapore-based SATS has recorded S$65 million (US$50 million) interim net profit. Revenue increased 15.5% year-on-year, to S$1.37 billion, driven by significant growth in air cargo volumes and continuing travel recovery, SATS said.

Atlas Air will add three 747-8 freighters to its fleet to accommodate global demand for dedicated large wide-body air cargo capacity, particularly for cross-border e-commerce shipping.

Textron Aviation has reported the Cessna SkyCourier twin utility turboprop has been awarded type certification by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, expanding the aircraft’s ability to support operations in remote areas of Southeast Asia.
