BOC Aviation has signed agreements with U.S.-based Frontier Airlines to purchase and lease back 15 of the airline’s A320neo.
Lufthansa Technik has acquired a majority holding in U.S.-based ETP Thermal Dynamics, an MRO provider for heat exchangers and oil and fuel coolers, for an undisclosed sum.
Still with Lufthansa Technik, the company has announced EVA Air as its first customer in Asia sign for AeroSHARK: riblet films covering the aircraft’s fuselage and engine nacelles that reduce drag and improve fuel efficiency. EVA will modify its 777F freighters with AeroSHARK, a Lufthansa Technik and BASF innovation.
