Singapore Airlines first international carrier to commit to new Sydney airport

Read More » “This agreement reflects our commitment to enhancing network connectivity for travellers to and from Sydney and to providing additional services for Australia, a major market for the Singapore Airlines Group,” SIA regional vice president South West Pacific, Louis Arul, said. “This is a unique opportunity to work with a green field airport to set a new base line for customer experience throughout an airport ecosystem.” SIA flies five times daily to down town Sydney Kingsford-Smith Airport and the group’s LCC, Scoot, operates up to 10 flights a week to selected Australian destinations. “For instance, Western Sydney International Airport’s late night departure capacity, could allow Singapore Airlines business travellers to finish a full day of work in Sydney, take an overnight flight and arrive in Singapore before their first morning meeting the next day,” WSI CEO, Simon Hickey said.
