New Fiji CEO
Nadi-based Fiji Airways is set to appoint Peter Hill as its new chief executive after former boss, Stefan Pichler, left the carrier in February to lead airberlin. Read More »
Pichler last month said 42 candidates had applied for the top job at Fiji Airways and that the airline had narrowed its selection “down to just four,” of which Hill, an adviser to SriLankan Airlines, was one. Fiji Airways’ selection was confirmed by SriLankan Airlines chairman Ajith Dias, who said Hill “[was] leaving [SriLankan] because he was offered this position” at Fiji Airways.
New UPS CFO
United Parcel Service (UPS) announced that chief financial officer (CFO), Kurt Kuehn, will retire on July 1 and be succeeded by UPS corporate controller and treasurer, Richard Peretz, a UPS executive since 1981. Kuehn has been CFO since 2008.
