Malaysia Airports doubles net profit in first half

Malaysia Airports Holdings (MAHB) has reported its net profit more than doubled, to 395.8 million ringgit (US$92 million), in the six months to June 30 from 160.7 million ringgit in the same months in 2023. Managing director, Dato Mohd Izani Ghani, said: “international passenger movements are expected to remain strong in both Malaysian and Turkish operations, driven by the summer season demand". "We will continue to press for enhanced connectivity and increase the airlines operating to Malaysia and Türkiye and focus on improving the passenger experience at the airports.”
