Juneyao Airlines and 9 Air report robust passenger traffic increases in peak summer season

Shanghai-based Juneyao Airlines operated more than 22,000 flights and flew four million passengers in July and August. Read More » About 4,000 flights served international and regional routes, carrying more than 660,000 passengers in the 62 days, the airline said. Flights and passengers flown averaged increases of 80% compared with the same months in 2023. Separately, Juneyao subsidiary, 9 Air, flew more than 5,300 flights in July and August, an increase of 15% against the same months a year ago. Total passengers transported exceeded 1.2 million, representing 20% year-on-year growth. Average load factor for the reported period exceeded 90%, 9 Air said.
