Air China retires country’s “longest-serving civil aviation aircraft”

The wide-body entered into service with Air China on February 27, 1994. “As the flagship of Air China, the B-2445 undertook important diplomatic missions in the early days of its use as well as major tasks such as overseas evacuation and disaster relief,” the flag carrier said.
