Philippine Airlines has contracted HAECO to conduct D checks on its A321 fleet at the MRO’s Xiamen shop.

IAM District 751, the largest union at Boeing, has reached a tentative agreement with the aerospace manufacturer that offers its members a 25% wage increase over four years and a commitment to building Boeing’s next airplane in western Washington State.

The International Air Transport Association has welcomed Qingdao Airlines as a member of the global airline association.

Compared with July, air cargo rates on routes originating from the Asia-Pacific increased 1% last month, to $3.26 per kilo, and were 22% higher than a year ago, WorldACD Market Data reports. Worldwide air cargo demand and pricing remained strong for the month with tonnages up 10% year-on-year.
