EVA Airways reports best passenger numbers for the year in traffic update

For the 31 days, revenue passenger kilometers increased 2.39%, capacity expanded 3.31% and passenger load factor was 84.53%. Best performing routes were Taipei to Milan and Munich with load factor to each of the European cities topping 95%. Within the region, passenger load factor to Chiang Mai, Da Nang, Bali, Phnom Penh and destinations to Japan exceeded 90%, EVA said. From January to August, the international carrier transported 8,830,855 passengers, up 24.09% on the matching period in 2023.Total monthly revenue was 9.38% higher than 12 months ago.
