Read More » At an investor conference earlier this week, STARLUX Airlines CEO, Chai Chien-hua, said the full-service airline’s membership of oneworld will offer the alliance greater access to the Taiwan market. STARLUX rivals, China Airlines and EVA Airways, are members of SkyTeam and the Star Alliance, respectively. STARLUX operates 238 flights a week to 27 destinations. It plans to launch Taiwan to North America, Europe, China and Australia and to increase flight frequencies to 278 a week in 2025. Late last month the airline accepted its sixth A350-900. It will introduce two more of the type to its operations by December, increasing its A350 fleet to 26. The carrier’s operating aircraft are planned to be 33 in 2025 and expand to 53 by 2029.
