AirAsia and Airbus establish partnership to accelerate aviation sustainability

AirAsia and Airbus have signed a Memorandum of Understanding between their sustainability divisions to explore decentralized production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in Southeast Asia using alternative feedstock and technologies. Read More » The research-based partnership aims to identify opportunities to support and expand SAF supply in the region. The MoU also states the partners will investigate advanced measures to improve air traffic management to reduce CO₂ emissions. “As a carrier based in five ASEAN countries, we bring unparalleled operational experience in the region to complement the technological expertise of Airbus.
