Kuala Lumpur Subang Airport (SZB) had 21,096 international passengers through its terminal in August, up 24.8% from 16,900 in July. Read More » In August, the airport welcomed the return of jet aircraft for commercial passenger flights, as Firefly, Scoot, and Transnusa commenced international flights to Singapore and Jakarta, while AirAsia and Batik Air offered domestic flights to Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, and Penang, among other destinations. "The resumption of jet operations at SZB has been met with positive feedback well received, enhancing connectivity to a wider selection of domestic and regional destinations," Subang Airport operator, Malaysia Airports (MAHB), said. The number of domestic passengers rose 1.3% to 105,000 in August, compared with the previous month, MAHB said.
