Lufthansa Airlines considering Frankfurt-Beijing cancellation

Read More » Recently, the German carrier said it is finding it hard to compete with Middle East carriers that can operate through Russian airspace, a situation that does not apply to Lufthansa. The airline added it will retain Munich-Beijing. A retreat from Frankfurt-Beijing will follow decisions made by British Airways and Virgin Atlantic to cancel flights to China. Airlines from the European Union and the UK have been banned from flying over Russia since the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war, taking them longer to fly to East Asia.
