Philippine Airlines rostering more of carrier’s own cabin crew aboard two wet-leased A330-200s

Philippine Airlines (PAL) will increase cabin crew flying aboard two A330-200s it has wet-leased from European charter operator, Wamos Air. Read More » PAL’s wet lease agreement with the company began on June 1 with the Wamos A330-200s operating from Manila to Melbourne and Sydney. The five-month wet lease agreement gives PAL time to address additional maintenance requirements, the airline said. “Recently, this lease arrangement was updated to allow PAL to use more of its own flight attendants on board the A330-200s,” PAL said late last week. The airline also is increasing Manila-Brisbane from six times a week to daily on October 27.
