Japan Airlines providing free Wi-Fi to its international passengers

Japan Airlines (JAL) has expanded its complimentary Wi-Fi offering to all passengers flying on its international network. Read More » From October 1, JAL first and business class travellers now have unlimited free connectivity and premium economy and economy passengers are entitled to one hour of free access. Previously, only first class JAL passengers had access to complimentary internet connectivity via Wi-Fi. “These service expansions will provide passengers with an inflight experience closer to that [they have] on the ground,” JAL said. “Continued efforts will be made to expand and enhance inflight Wi-Fi services, making the onboard experience more meaningful and tailored to passenger needs.” The oneworld alliance member also is expanding its complimentary Wi-Fi offering on domestic flights to include video streaming services.
