Air India Express and AIX Connect complete merger

Read More » The new entity will operate as Air India Express with the airline code IX. “This moment signifies a strengthened operational front and the culmination of months of dedication and support from our incredible teams, under the unwavering guidance of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA),” Air India Express said in a social media post. “As we take off on this new chapter, we look forward to continuing our mission of connecting places, people and cultures.” Two other Tata’s carriers – Air India and Vistara – are scheduled to complete their merger into one airline by November 12. From that date, the Vistara name will be retired and all flights will operate as Air India.
