Batik Air Malaysia expands network from Subang

Batik Air Malaysia will fly a second nonstop service from Kuala Lumpur Subang airport commencing on October 21. Read More » Daily Subang-Kota Bharu will operate alongside Batik Air Malaysia's existing 737 rotation to Penang, from the close-in Kuala Lumpur airport. “We are proud to offer our customers the convenience of flying direct to Kota Bharu, utilising 737s that provide a faster and more comfortable journey,” Batik Air CEO, Datuk Chandran Rama Muthy, said. “This route, along with our existing services, will cater to the strong demand we have observed from Subang.” In August, Subang welcomed the return of passenger jet operations for commercial flights. Firefly, Scoot and Transnusa have commenced international flying [from Subang], and AirAsia Malaysia and Batik Air Malaysia are offering domestic services. Batik Air Malaysia is eager to add destinations to its network out Subang, it said.
