Embraer's E190F freighter approved by U.S. regulator

Embraer expects to receive European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) clearance by year-end, it said. “FAA certification is an important milestone in our passenger-to-freighter conversion program,” Embraer Commercial Aviation chief commercial officer, Martyn Holmes, said. “We are excited to be entering this market, filling a gap that has evolved to meet growing demand globally for faster deliveries, not just to metro areas, but to all regions.”
