Malaysia Airlines (MAS) is boosting its India network with the resumption of nonstop five times a week Kuala Lumpur-Kolkata from December 2, operating the route with two-class 737-800s. Read More » The rotation will be the Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) carrier's 10th destination in India after existing Kuala Lumpur to Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Mumbai, New Delhi and Trivandrum. “We are delighted to recommence direct flights to Kolkata, marking a pivotal step in our efforts to enhance connectivity for travellers between Malaysia and India,” MAG CEO airlines, Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi, said. “India is a key market for us. By enhancing our network and increasing frequencies, we aim to deliver exceptional travel experiences, complemented by Malaysia Airlines renowned hospitality.” AirAsia Malaysia is the only airline now flying nonstop Kuala Lumpur-Kolkata.
