Air China reports 65% jump in international air traffic demand

Air China and its subsidiaries recorded a 20% year-on-year increase in combined passenger traffic in their latest month. Read More » Passenger capacity was higher by 11.8% against September 2023 and passenger load factor was 79.7%, 5.5 percentage points more than in the matching 30 days a year ago. International capacity increased 55.4% against September last year and passenger traffic leapt 65.4%, the flag carrier said. The airline transported 12.6 million passengers last month, a 15% improvement compared with September 2023 and flew 1.36 million air travellers on international routes, up 74% from September 2023.
