Narita International Airport (NAA) has announced passengers that have passed through the airport’s terminals since it opened in May 1978 will reach 1.2 billion by October 31.

The Kazakhstan Transport Ministry is seeking to expand the Central Asian country’s links with destinations in Europe, targeting cities in Austria, Germany, Hungary and Latvia, Aviation Week reports.

Drukair, the national carrier of Bhutan, has ordered three A320neo and two A321XLRs following a Memorandum of Understanding signed between the airline and Airbus at this year’s Farnborough International Airshow.

Japan’s tourism authority said 26.88 million foreign visitors arrived in the country in the first nine months of this year, up 54.7% from the matching months a year ago. In calendar year 2023, the country received 25.07 million visitors, the Japan National Tourism Organization said.

SF Express Singapore has marked a significant milestone in its expansion with the official opening of its airside logistics centre SATS Core A warehouse in Changi Airfreight Centre. The airside logistics centre is expected to reduce processing time from four to six hours to 1.5 to two hours.
