India’s authorities reassure flying public skies are safe following spate of bomb threats

Aviation authorities have introduced extra security measures at airports across India following the threats and have reassured the flying public it is safe to travel by air. India Bureau of Civil Aviation Security director general, Zulfiqar Hasan, told reporters protocols to deal with threats made against flights are robust and are being strictly followed. Investigations to catch the individuals responsible for the hoaxes are continuing, he said.
