Cathay Pacific has started operations of a 777-300ER fitted with its new business class seat, Aria Suite, and refreshed long-haul premium economy and economy cabins. Read More » The inaugural retrofitted 777-300ER aircraft, registration B-KPO, flew Hong Kong to Beijing on October 19. The oneworld alliance member's latest cabin fit out is part of a HK$100 billion (US$13 billion) investment in its fleet, cabin products, lounges and digital and sustainability programs. Cathay also will install a new first class on its 777-9Xs and a new flat-bed business class on its A330-300s. The airline’s investments in cutting-edge aircraft, innovative technology and groundbreaking facilities are dedicated to moving beyond expectations – in the air, on the ground and in every experience we create, chief customer and commercial officer, Lavinia Lau, said.
