Regulators remove SpiceJet from enhanced surveillance scheme

India's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), after conducting 266 spot checks, has released SpiceJet from enhanced surveillance that commenced last September 13. Read More » “This decision is a testament to our unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance,” SpiceJet said. In its statement, the LCC reported the DGCA said “it has been ensured deficiencies and findings found during the spot checks have been subject to suitable rectification action by the operator. In light of the same and the infusion of additional funds into the company, SpiceJet has been taken off the enhanced surveillance regime”.
